Intimate Yosemite Wedding // Daniel and Sandy’s wedding weekend was filled with love, adventure, and beauty. First of all, if you haven’t been to Yosemite, you really need to go! It is breathtaking. Anyhow, the couple invited their family and friends up to Yosemite to campout for a few nights before the wedding and explore the Valley. Then on Sunday morning, waking up much before the sun rose, Daniel began to get ready by lantern light. Sandy was stationed in a nearby RV for her prep time. When the time came, everyone drove to taft point for the 1 mile hike to the ceremony location. Sandy stayed a little behind so as to not be seen by her groom. The walk to Taft point was a special time. A time to dwell in the beauty of nature and in the love and support from closest family and friends who were joining them on this journey. As everyone gathered near the cliffs overlooking the Valley, Sandy made her way to her groom. I love the metaphor they painted that morning, making a momentous decision and commitment overlooking a monumental landscape. An epic start to their marriage. Afterwards, we trekked back through the forest, stopping along the way to document love and beauty. I hope you enjoy this unique story and experience, I know Brett and I sure did.
