We are always excited to photograph a highland springs resort wedding. Highland springs resort is a large property decorated with oak trees, lavender fields, olive tree groves, and a lot of shade. The indoor space is the beautiful and spacious Grand Oak Restaurant. Emily and Eytan said their vows under the 1,100 year old oak tree, and had the reception among the olive groves. The staff is always fantastic, accommodating and professional. A highlight at this venue is the food. Their chef makes all of the food with quality ingredients. Some of the food is sourced from their own organic farm, while the rest is obtained through local farmers! The food is both delectable and responsible :).
Emily and Eytan personalized their day by adding details that highlighted their interests. One of my favorite details was the cake! Emily is a cheese monger, and subsequently passionate about cheese, so the couple chose to have a cheese wheel cake! It was classy, beautiful, and delicious (don’t worry, I included a photo!)
